A three-year-old girl has died after being hit by a delivery van in a south-east London car park.
This is from the BBC news today:-
The girl was hit by the vehicle in Dukes Court car park in Lordship Lane, East Dulwich, on Friday afternoon. She was taken by ambulance to Kings College Hospital but died less than an hour later. How did this happen? If people reverse, perhaps vehicles ought to be fitted with reverse sirens etc? Perhaps parents need to be aware of the dangers of car parks for small kids and keep an eye on them more?
A 33-year-old man was arrested at the scene and released on police bail.
Did they give the keys back to the driver, so he could do the same thing again, after all, he will be in shock. How can he drive if he has killed a child?
The driver wasn’t named.
