Cyclenation reports that the European Cycling Federation has joined the Alliance against Mega Trucks, in particular for road safety reasons.

In June 2009, the new European Parliament will be elected. The European Cycling Federation will submit an election paper to all shortlisted MEPs. They will also lobby for an interparliamentary group on cyclng in the European Parliament for the period 9/14.
